Roadways, sidewalks, and yards remained slick, causing falls and injuries while rural carriers extended routes on foot or from the road center to avoid slips. City traffic eased on powdery ice, pedestrians wore cleats, and several minor accidents occurred, including a truck auto crash at the Sandcreek bridge.
