Highway Crash Kills Three on U S 31 South of Salem
A multi fatality collision occurred on U S 31 six miles south of Salem at 7 15 this morning when a small sedan carrying three Armstrong relatives and McCoskey collided with an Indiana highway truck carrying eleven employees. Harold McCoskey George Armstrong Francis Armstrong died. Homer Thixton Glenn Armstrong critically injured. The truck crew, led by Lawrence Speckner, and several other maintenance workers escaped with minor injuries. Coroner William A. Dickemeyer opened an inquiry to determine the accident cause.

Matlock Car Wrecked In Early Morning Crash
J Price Matlock of the area was slightly injured when his four passenger coupe skidded on slippery pavement and overturned on U S 31 50 about one mile east of the city. He is secretary of the Cooperative Building and Loan Association and was en route to work. The car was badly damaged.

Bedford Boy Burned As Clothing Catches Fire
