Youth Fined 817 After 11 Charges in Seymour Court
An 18 year old Jonesboro youth, Frank E. Gilbert, was fined 817 including court costs after pleading guilty to 11 charges in Seymour city court Friday. He was arrested after a high speed chase by state troopers Spinks and Haycox that wrecked a Seymour police cruiser. Gilbert received suspended sentences on several counts and was jailed in Brownstown for nonpayment.

Viet Bound Ship Burns In Mid Pacific
A Viet Nam bound cargo ship the Badger State loaded with rockets and bombs burned in the mid Pacific about 580 miles northeast of Midway Island.
