Fire damages Brown home in Brownstown
A mid day blaze heavily damaged the three room residence of Mr and Mrs R V Miller on Bridge and Benton streets in Brownstown. The Millers were away at the time. neighbors notified the owner and firemen saved most furnishings but clothing and a chest of drawers were destroyed. The couple, moved to Mrs Millers home, receive clothing from the Red Cross and donations can be made by calling 522-3388.
