After Christmas week downpour, the White River topped 15.2 feet Thursday night and receded to 14.8 feet by Friday morning. Four state highways remain closed Ind 39 south of Tampico Ind 235 east of Medora Ind 252 east of Edinburg and Ind 256 west of Austin. Ind 258 between Seymour and Cortland shows flood spots but is passable. State Police Set Training Schools
Several training sessions are on schedule for state police personnel shortly after the first of the new year. Cpl.
