WPA Grant For Road Approved In Seymour District
A Works Progress Administration grant of 38389 dollars was approved in Washington to improve State Road 258 from Seymour to Freetown. Fleetwood Rites Set for Sunday in Maumee
Funeral services for George W. Fleetwood aged 62 will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. from Maumee Baptist Church with Rev. Eli Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Robertson Cemetery. Fleetwood died Friday morning at his home seven miles northwest of Kurtz after four days of double pneumonia. He was born January 1, 1876 in Salt Creek township. Survived by widow Lusina Henderson and nine children, plus a brother Jack Fleetwood and half brother Mallie Fleetwood.
