Cosby Acquitted in Jones Death Trial
Set Cosby a Pennsylvania railroad police sergeant was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson Circuit Court. The jury deliberated from 2:45 p m to 8 p m Monday and returned a verdict of acquittal as Judge Branaman read the ruling. Jones and Coy Goforth were riding a coal car to witness a Memorial Day race when officers ordered riders off. Jones died June 10 after a May 28 shooting in Seymour Indiana.

Funeral services for Holmes Hunsucker twenty three of Seymour were held at 2 30 p m today at the First Baptist Church after brief services at Voss Mortuary at 2. Burial was in River View Cemetery. He died from an accidental shotgun discharge at Schneck Memorial Hospital after being injured Saturday afternoon while alone preparing to hunt.
