Developer Must Appear Before State Health Board
A Jackson County subdivision developer is ordered to appear before the Indiana State Board of Health in Indianapolis on January 18 for a hearing on water pollution charges. The hearing examines a sewage system for Greendale Parkway Subdivision near U S 50 and U S 31, where only about five of 180 lots are built. The system discharges into the Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge and was installed without prior approval. Ray Kocher of the state board will present findings on facilities, the receiving stream, and a lab analysis, with a preliminary report to the board, which may approve, require changes, or order abandonment at the February meeting.

Delinquent Parking Tickets: Deadline Nears in Seymour
Chief Robert Gill of the Seymour Police warns delinquent motorists have until December 31, 1967 to pay $1 per ticket to avoid legal action. City Attorney John M. Lewis says 370 reminder letters were sent. 144 names remain as of Friday. After January 1, violators face up to $50 fines or 15 days jail per count. payments go to the clerk-treasurer at City Hall.

Two Sought For Austin Thefts
Two companions of a 17 year old alleged lookout are being sought after a series of break ins in Austin. Roy Schneck reported a break in at his service station where a latch was broken. The youths also allegedly dumped into Lambs body shop and took a fire axe from the fire station and money from a soft drink machine.
