Three Hurt in Schneck Hospital Overnight
Three people were treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital Friday night. Henry Holtman, 79, Seymour R2, injured a fractured left hip in a fall and was admitted at 6:30 p.m. Deborah Norris, 4, daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Norris of 726 Emerson Drive, received four stitches for cuts on her head and was admitted at 7:45 p.m. Jessie Evans, 50, of 102% South Pine Street, treated at 8:45 p.m. for a dog bite on her right hand and released.

Two Seymour Boys, 12 and 14, Arrested for School Burglary
Two juvenile suspects, a 12 year old and a 14 year old from Seymour, were taken into custody after breaking into Seymour Redding School on US 31 A near Ewing Street. Police responded at 11 32 p m and after a chase the pair were captured at 11 40 p m They admitted planning entry but denied other burglaries. They were held at Browns town juvenile authorities and later transferred to the county jail.

The 72 day October term of Jackson Circuit Court ended this morning after beginning Monday October 2 Judge John M Lewis said the court will be in vacation until Monday January 1 When it resumes the regular 48 day January term will start with state criminal civil and divorce dockets to be called The court dismissed the petit and grand juries serving for nearly three months Jury commissioners Phil Cordes Sr Seymour Glen F Zabel and H Jack Spurgeon will draw 40 prospective petit jurors and 12 grand jurors on December 26 At New Year’s Day court one member of each law firm will be in court to set as many criminal civil and divorce cases as possible for trial Eleven criminal and five civil cases have been set for the coming term which ends February 24 No divorce actions have been set for hearing during the 48 day term.

Mitchell Youth Slashes Wrists Awaiting Sentence
