Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 30 from the Voss Mortuary with Rev John L Prentice of the First Presbyterian Church in charge burial at Riverview Cemetery Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after 6 o'clock tonight Charles born October 19 1879 in Seymour spent his life here and worked 35 years at the Seymour post office retiring in 1933 He served one term on the local school board and remained active in civic affairs until health prevented further activity.

Mrs. Mary C. Rodenbarger died at noon Monday at 524 West Forty first Street Indianapolis. Funeral services were held at Ward Funeral Home and burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. She was born in Downstown and lived in Seymour before moving to Indianapolis where she had many friends.

With a citywide Christmas holiday looming, most stores and the post office will operate on special hours to manage the peak season. plans are underway for virtually all businesses to close Thursday during the Yule observance.

Believe U. S. Bombers Sunk Japanese Submarine
Captain Clark A. Farrow arrived at Eureka with 50 survivors from the tanker Emidio after U. S. bombing planes attacked a Japanese submarine off the California coast.
