Four Injured In Accidents In Seymour Area
Indiana State Police at Seymour report a Sunday of crashes sending four people to Schneck Memorial Hospital. Ronald Royalty 21 of 734 South Vine Street was in a one car wreck on Redding Road near I 65 with a fractured jaw and head injury. Toppe 20 and Crawford 21 were thrown from Royalty s car with Toppe suffering a head injury and Crawford a fractured collarbone. Crawford was moved to Bartholomew County Hospital in Columbus. Royalty s car was damaged about 2000 dollars. Inclusion continued on page 21 col 4.

Christmas Basket Fund total climbs past last year pace
The 1969 Christmas Basket Fund rose to 1408.96 after 21 donors gave 318.21 over the weekend. Arvin Industries led with 149.21, a nameless donor added 50, and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1925 contributed 25 as officials expect a final total after December 26.

Two Killed When Airplanes Collide at Franklin Field
Franklin Indiana AP two pilots Bennett 28 and West 23 both of Indianapolis died when their single engine plane was hit by a second plane owned by airport owner and state representative Mullendore during takeoff after a victim landing. The other pilot Lowell B Thomas 30 also from Indianapolis and passenger Clifford Hall were injured.
