Seymour Woman Hurt In Fall Hospitalized
A Seymour woman, Mrs. Walter Manley, 40, of 820 South Pine Street, is in fair condition at Schneck Memorial Hospital after a fall down stairs at her home this morning. Her admission was recorded at 7:55 a.m. Also treated were Rodney Ortkriese, four, of Redington Road, with a lip laceration after falling at home and released at 8:15 a.m., and Mrs. Clara Crum, 620 South O’Brien, who improved to fair condition after a December 15 medical admission.

Couple Sought In Holdup Of Man Near City
State police search for a man and a woman suspected of forcing John Bowling a 68 year old part time bar employee to hand over his cash at gunpoint after leaving a Seymour bar around 4 pm on Monday. The pair allegedly threatened to kill him and dump him in a river if money was not surrendered as the car headed toward Rockford then toward the old Shady Bend area. The incident occurred about 7 30 pm.

800 Pound Milk Cow Stolen From Bedford Farm
Jackson County sheriff investigates the theft of an 800 pound Brown Jersey milk cow from John Bergdoll's farm on old U S 50 near Leesville. The animal valued at about 200 dollars was taken sometime between 8 p m Monday and 6 a m today. a second cow was found wandering with a halter.

Wayne Van Sickle of Lebanon has agreed to teach band and music at Crothersville Schools.
