Newlyweds killed at Henryville crossing
Martin Nickleson 43 and Stella Norrey 32 were killed when their auto was struck by a fast Pennsylvania passenger train at a crossing two miles south of Henryville Indiana. The couple had just left Jeffersonville and were returning from Louisville. Nickleson who lived with his mother on a local farm and Miss Norrey the daughter of farmers were said to have waited for a tram at the crossing before driving onto the tracks. The bodies were found about 200 feet from the impact and death was instantaneous.
