Indiana Democrats Seek 100 Million Property Tax Relief

New License Tags Go On Sale Jan. 2
New 1967 passenger car and truck tags go on sale at the three county license bureaus in Seymour Brownstown and Crothersville Monday January 2. Reserved special numbers can be picked up at Seymour Sunday New Year's Day 1 to 5 pm. Reservations for special numbers such as house and telephone numbers or year of birth are due by noon Saturday December 24. The local bureau closes at noon on Christmas Eve and remains closed Sunday and Monday.

Christmas Basket Fund Trails 1965 Drive in Final Push
The 48th annual Christmas Basket Fund lags behind last year with donations to date totaling 109.83 bringing the fund to 1,066.58 with two days left to reach the 1965 total of 1,250.98. Volunteers are needed to distribute baskets starting Saturday at 7 am from the American Legion Post Home.

Youngster Struck By Car In Seymour Near School
A five year old Seymour boy was treated and released at Schneck Memorial Hospital after being struck by a 1963 model car near Seymour Jackson School. The youth named Robert Hochstetler suffered foot abrasions and swelling. Driver Bonnie K Doxtater, 27, of Seymour R3, was behind the wheel. the collision occurred at 3 30 p m.
