Son of County Residents Missing in South Pacific War

Boy Confesses Killing Five Year Old Niece
Norman Burton, 15, released on probation to his elder sister, confessed to killing his sister's five year old daughter with a skinning knife at the family country home near Ohio New Jersey. Reds Launch New Danube Attack
Berlin radio reported the Russians launched an offensive between Balaton Lake and the Danube in Hungary with ten rifle divisions.
