I 65 Bridge Damaged By Oversize Load In Indiana
A semitrailer hauling a large steel tank struck the New Farmington Road overpass on I-65 injuring two occupants in a second crash. Ronald E. Starr, 31, of Westland Michigan, was cited for oversize permit violation. Bridge damage estimated up to 60 thousand dollars with repairs possibly higher. Affected vehicle damages totaled about 2 thousand dollars. a guard rail and highway sign were also damaged. Police and troopers investigated with state highway crew assistance.
