Autos Collide Today On Road Near By Town
A two car accident on Wegan road three miles east of Browns town at 10 30 am left one car demolished and the other damaged no injuries reported. Involved were a 1959 two door sedan driven by Joe Gallion 23 Brownstown and a 1950 two door sedan driven by Paul Herndon 18 Wallonia Al Harvey Green deputy sheriff said both were headed south on the gravel road Gallion slowed for an oncoming truck and was struck in the rear by Herndon s car causing 150 damage to the Gallion auto and 125 damage to the Herndon auto which was a total loss.

Bowling Alley Burglary Investigated at Freeman Lanes
Seymour state police post investigator Maurice L Wright is probing a burglary at Freeman Lanes near Freeman Field. The break in occurred between 12 30 and 8 am with glass broken to rear door. Six vending machines were pried open and about 100 dollars stolen plus 35 dollars from a drawer. Machines damaged.

Damages $655 In Pair Of Accidents
Four automobiles were damaged a total of $655 in two two car collisions Tuesday afternoon, with no injuries. At 3 43 p m a 1949 sedan driven by Mary E Kattman collided with a 1958 sedan driven by Rev Earl Carmichael on Bruce street near Walnut. Kattman’s car sustained $60 rear end damage and Carmichael’s $125 to the right front fender and door. At 5 21 p m an accident at Fourth and Walnut involved a 1957 sedan driven by Virginia Showalter and a 1959 sedan driven by Diana Vogel.
