Two Injured In Crash At Hayden
Heavy rainfall and poor visibility caused five traffic incidents late Thursday afternoon, including a Hayden crash injuring Mrs. Sarah Long of Seymour and her son Ray. Long sustained a fractured right wrist and Ray lost two upper front teeth. They were treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital and released. The collision occurred on U. S. 50 near the Hayden turn when Long misjudged the left turn in rain, striking Leslie L. Christopher's westbound car. Christopher and family were shaken but uninjured beyond soreness. His Farm Bureau vehicle suffered about 600 dollars in damage.
