Schneck Memorial Hospital trustees at a regular meeting designated the new deep therapy X-ray room as the Henry F Osterman room in memory of the late Henry F Osterman who died December 4 1955. Osterman served long hours for the hospital and was an honorary board member at his death. The board also voted to pay the Picker X-Ray Corporation.

The Brownstown Town Board postpones issuing 90 day notices to compel sewer connections after a Chamber appeal. The board may issue additional bonds of 7000 to 10000 dollars to extend sewer lines, with about 6200 needed for the project. The May 1 1956 interest on the 400000 sewer bond is expected to be met from available funds. The January 9 1956 town board meeting will review the situation.

Bradshaws Freed From Communist China After 5 Years
Dr Homer W. Bradshaw and his wife, long time American medical missionaries in China since 1928, crossed into Hong Kong on a Canton train and were taken to St. Teresa's Hospital. Mrs Bradshaw appeared malnourished and mentally fragile while Dr Bradshaw spoke of a physical breakdown and slow starvation before Red food parcels aided recovery. The couple, Pittsburgh natives, planned to reach a farm near Pittsburgh as soon as possible.
