Miss Louise Ault of 313 North Broadway suffered minor cuts and a bruised chin when the car she rode in slid into a ditch and struck a wooden bridge along East Fourth Street near O'Brien Street. Driver Richard Oberman said he veered toward the ditch while meeting another car. front damage estimated at $150. Ault was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital and scheduled for release.

A laborer by trade, he formerly lived in Somerset Kentucky and moved to the Scottsburg Crothersville area several years ago. Survived by son Killes Sawyer of Austin and two daughters Lillie Arnold of Cincinnati and Ruth K Wilson of Los Angeles along with thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral was held Thursday at the Lutheran Church in Crothersville with burial at Whitson Cemetery in Austin.
