Mrs Georgia Haper Dies at Home in Seymour
Mrs Georgia Mae Haper 64 lifelong Seymour resident died at home on Pershing Street after years of ill health. Born February 7 1880 near Cortland she married Charles Haper in 1900 at Jonesville. Survived by husband four children Maurice and Carl Haper Mae Hoene Dorothy Fischer and three grandchildren. Funeral Saturday at First Baptist Church with Dr A A Cohn. Burial Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call after 7pm Thursday.

Pfc. Clayton Weddel Dies in Action on Nazi Front
Pfc. Clayton C. Weddel 29 was killed in Germany on November 20 after being listed missing. Inducted March 2, 1944, he served with an infantry division, trained at Camp Wolters Texas, and overseas in August. Born February 5, 1915 in Medora he was married to Dorothy Clampitt of Norman and leaves a daughter Barbara Ann, his parents Samuel and Daisy, three brothers and a sister. He belonged to the Baptist Church at Liberty and the Modern Woodmen of America lodge in Franklin.
