John Raymond Dye aged thirty five of Louisville Kentucky pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. He was fined fifteen dollars and costs totaling twenty five dollars and sixty five cents. His license was suspended thirty days after a Sunday arrest by Officer Charles J Williams at U S Road 31 two miles north of Seymour.

Fire damages home of Mrs Mollie Cox in rapid blaze
A fire damaged the residence of Mrs Mollie Cox at 404 East Third Street today at 105 PM. The blaze started behind a gas stove and spread up a partition to a shingle roof covered with composition material. Firefighters quickly laid a hose line to extinguish the flames.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva E. Lucas, 55, of Seymour A4 northeast of Honeytown, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Honeytown Christian Church with Rev. C. B. Brooke of Brownstown officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery north of Seymour. She died Sunday night after years of rheumatism and months of illness. She was born April 17, 1883 near Clearspring, daughter of George and Eliza Motsinger. She married Herschel Lucas on October 31, 1903. he survives. Also surviving are two brothers Charles Motsinger of Clearspring and Berton Motsinger of Bloomington UL, and two sisters Iva Ratcliff of Indianapolis and Pearl Charles of Kurtz.
