Plane crash kills Lieut Graham St. John veteran pilot
Lieut Graham St John a native of this city and former Dey Mou resident dies in a plane crash ten miles south of High Hill Missouri. He was flying from Kansas City to St Louis with Capt Wilton M Binney when engine failure or navigation error caused the craft to plunge into a wooded area. A mail pilot saw the crash and radioed the position but bodies were found hang in their safety belts the next day. Burial planned at Arlington National Cemetery, time not learned. He lived here until age sixteen then moved to Memphis and was well known to Seymour residents.
