William Johnson and Wesley Christie appeared before Mayor Stanley A. Switzer for public intoxication. Johnson pleaded guilty to intoxication and was fined $1 plus $10 in costs. a deadly weapon charge was dismissed. Christie pleaded guilty to intoxication, fined $1 and $10 costs, and jailed to pay the fine, following arrest by Officer George A. Forster near the city on Monday night.

Albert junior Perry aged fifteen, a Crothersville High School freshman, died at 12 50 this morning at his parents home two miles north of Crothersville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at Uniontown Baptist Church with Rev. L V Rule in charge. Burial will follow in Uniontown Cemetery. Born February 10 1924, he had been ill about three weeks. Man Arrested in Crothersville on Safe-Cracking Charge
Bayne Nicholas age about thirty nine of Crothersville was arrested about 3 o clock this morning by Detective Don Winn of the Seymour state police post and Marshal Sampson Mitchell. He was wanted in Indianapolis as a suspect in a safe cracking and was to be taken there today. He had previously served time in prison for cracking a safe in a Crothersville store in 1932.
