Two men hold up Austin service station for about 75 dollars
Indiana troopers search for two men aged about 30 to 35 after an armed holdup at Bishop's service station in Austin around 2 30 a m. The suspects fled south toward Scottsburg in a black 1949 or 1950 Ford without plates. One robber was noted as having red hair. Police from Charlestown and Seymour areas issued alerts.

Three Victims Treated After Minor Accidents
Three youths were treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital Monday and released. Charles Sutton, 14, from 217 East Laurel, had his foot X-rayed after a basketball incident at the Seymour Boys Club. Wayne Wilson, 15, of Crothersville, dislocated his right thumb when hit by a basketball and had it reset. Richard Kiewitt, 338 Seymour R3, fractured his right index finger from a calf kick and received a splint.

Youth Still Critical After Indiana Car Crash
Freddie Allman an 18 year old Cortland Al resident remained in critical condition at Robert Long Hospital Indianapolis after a single vehicle crash on Ind 135 three tenths of a mile south of Freetown. He suffered a basal skull fracture when he was thrown from the car which overturned one and a half times and pinned him beneath the vehicle owned by his father Clarence Allman. He was alone in the car when the accident occurred.

Accident on Toll Road Kills Two Small Children
Two and a half month old Ronald A. Strater and five year old Yvonne Felton died after a car left the West Plaza guard wall and plunged into the Grand Calumet River in Gary.
