Seymour Plans Police Radio Upgrade and Facility Changes
The Seymour city police department will undergo extensive operational changes by January 1 with a new Motorola radio system ordered for the station and patrol car. The project includes a city radio room receiver, fundraising by Rev. George L. Florence’s committee, and a remodeled hallway radio area as the entrance to the police station. The FM equipment will align with future state police changes, and the state system currently uses AM broadcasts.

Mrs. George Kramer of 308 South Broadway attended funeral services for her cousin Albert E. Montgomery who died at his son’s home in Illinois.
