City to Get Flashers at Four Crossings in Seymour
Seymour city council unanimously asked the city attorney to draft an ordinance requiring the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad to install flashing signals at the Poplar Walnut Chestnut and O'Brien street crossings. George Hart reports a western saddle stolen from his barn near U S Route 50 east of Seymour and a pony released and found along the road. Fenton's Grocery at 110 East Sixth Street was entered December 7 with 200 cigarette cartons, a .22 repeater rifle, two slabs of bacon and about $30 in change taken. a cigarette carton left outside helped trigger the discovery.
