Sherman Robbins dies from burns at Schneck Memorial Hospital
Sherman Robbins, 67, of Crothersville, died at Schneck Memorial Hospital this morning from burns suffered while attempting to start a fire at his home 304 Moore Street. He was brought by ambulance, survived about an hour after arrival, and had no known relatives except a brother in Iowa. Funeral arrangements pending contact with the brother.

Former Seymour Resident Martin Hodapp Dies in Indianapolis
Martin Hodapp Sr., about eighty, died after being struck while transferring between streetcars on an Indianapolis street. A native of Jennings County, he lived in Seymour most of his life and led the Farmers Hominy Mill. He leaves four daughters, two sons, four sisters, a grandson, and many relatives. Funeral plans to be announced.
