Two Seymour men Dennis Lee Barnes 21 and Thomas Alvan Wilson 22 were charged in Jennings Circuit Court with second degree burglary. A Novelty Ohio sailor Buddy Eugene Kloacki is sought after three Jennings County burglaries at Midway Motors U S 7 North Vernon on Nov 27 U S 50 line area on Nov 29 and North Vernon Automotive Parts on Dec 6. Two women slipped or fell Sunday or Monday at home or in a car and were treated for minor injuries then released. Mrs. Paul Vice of Seymour was admitted 2 40 PM with a right foot injury after exiting her car. Gary Conn 17 of Norman Ald injured his right ankle during a school basketball game and was admitted 4 45 PM after X rays. Mrs. Jessie H Trueblood of Medora fractured her left hip in a home fall and underwent surgical repair after admission at 4 45 PM.

Man Hurt In Pickup And Fuel An Oil Truck Crash
In Jackson County a 1962 pickup driven by 31 year old Robert Lambert collided with a 1956 fuel oil truck driven by 41 year old Henry Rouse on a narrow bridge. Lambert was taken to Schneck Memorial Hospital in Medoral with multiple injuries while Rouse sustained no injuries and the fuel truck suffered about 1500 dollars in damage. Authorities said the wreck occurred six miles northwest of Ewing and the vehicles were severely damaged.

Stores Here Now Open Every Night To Aid Local Shoppers
With higher temperatures today a larger crowd is expected in Seymour downtown as stores stay open until 9 p m tonight and through next Monday December 23. The Seymour Chamber of Commerce retail division extended night hours to include nightly openings plus Wednesday Friday and Saturday nights to aid Christmas shoppers. Stores will not stay open on Christmas Eve.

World War I Vets and Wives to Hold Dinner

Bank robber sentenced in Indianapolis
