River Falls Faces More Road Closures From White River Floods
Flood waters from the White River recede to 13 feet in Jackson county as five roads remain closed. Hunting Season On Quail Ends Monday
Indiana Department of Conservation reminds hunters that the quail and Hungarian partridge season ends Monday night December 20. State director Donald R. Hughes says this autumn saw the best quail hunting in several years and reports good hunting for both species. Rabbit season continues to January 10 with spotty rabbit distribution across the state. Raccoon, opossum, skunk, mink and muskrat may be hunted or trapped until noon January 15.

No One Hurt but two cars damaged in county road crash
One and a half miles west of Jonesville a collision occurred Thursday night injuring no one. Richard Paul McKinney of Jonesville was arrested by Officer Lawrence Conway and cited to appear in Irvin King’s court on the charge of operating on the wrong side of the highway. A 1939 sedan and a four door sedan collided east and west, totaling about 200 dollars in damage.
