Federal court redistricting splits Jackson County into three Senate and three House districts. District 15 centers on Brownstown and Bedford with parts of Bartholomew and Lawrence counties. District 13 includes Seymour and North Vernon. District 11 covers Scottsburg Charlestown and parts of Clark Jefferson Jennings and Washington counties. Christmas Basket Fund Trails 1969 Pace in Seymour Drive

The Seymour Christmas Basket Fund totals $564 from 68 donors, $126.17 behind last year’s $690.17 with 72 contributors. A $75 infusion from 16 donors was added today while gifts include memorials to Mr and Mrs George Hercamp and Ivan Love, and a class gift from First United Methodist Church. The drive is sponsored by the Seymour American Legion Post No 89 and the Seymour Daily Tribune to aid needy families with food and toys. donations may be mailed or delivered.
