Pedestrian Injured In Mishap Near Seymour
A 24 year old Seymour man, Billy Joe Stout of 529 East Tipton Street, was struck by a northbound 1966 two door near Trimpe’s Truck Stop on U S 31 just south of U S 50 at 5 30 am. He suffered possible fractures and head and facial lacerations and was to undergo surgery at Schneck Memorial Hospital. The driver was Owen M Barger 25 of Seymour R2. Stout wore black clothing making visibility difficult.

Teen arsonist faces Youth Corrections Act sentence
Michael L Beddoe, 19, admitted setting a Milwaukee Railroad trestle fire near Seymour on March 19.
