Murder Charge Is Filed Against Jonesville Mother

Vallonia Man and Salem Woman Die in Wreck on Ind 135
A 54 year old Vallonia man Claude Wesner and 26 year old Salem woman Carol Jean Roy died in a head on crash 3.3 miles north of Salem on Ind 135. Roy's passenger Carol Lee Graves was treated for a facial laceration and bruises. Wesner's truck crossed the centerline. Roy's car was struck on the left front fender. Funeral plans for Wesner are pending. Roy was active in 4 H and First Baptist Church in Salem and survived by husband Herbert Roy and a family including four sisters and a brother. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem.
