Youth Is Fined $40 Following Late Horn Tooting In Seymour
Victor Benge 24 of Bridgeport Indiana pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. He was fined 10 dollars and costs 20 dollars on each charge, with a suspended three month sentence at the penal farm by Mayor C W Burkart. Benge was arrested after allegedly honking a horn loudly on East Second Street, then fled and was later nabbed by state police on drunk driving charges at Franklin. He paid the 40 dollar fines and was released.

A well northwest of Seymour in Wayne township Bartholomew county struck a substantial oil flow at 340 feet. The Devonian seam yielded sweet dark green crude likely to fetch about four dollars a barrel. Dogs to be Destroyed On Sight to Curb Rabies
City authorities announce that all dogs running at large will be destroyed on sight to stop a local rabies epidemic.
