Watches Recovered From Indianapolis Man Cleared in Pharmacy Theft
Cecil Ruddick, 21, of Indianapolis, had two more watches taken from Cox Pharmacy found Thursday in Columbus by Constable Clarence E. Davis. Seven $1 watches were recovered with his arrest. Davis also recovered a watch sold to a taxi driver and one given away. Ruddick was fined $11 and sentenced to ninety days at the state penal farm by Mayor Burkart on Wednesday.

Car Crashes Into Guard Rail Southeast of Columbus
Three men returning to Chicago from Seymour escaped injury when the Bowmen owned car driven by Charles Bowman struck a guard rail at the State Roads 7 and 9 junction southeast of Columbus. Bowman said he was traveling about sixty five mph and failed to see the junction angle in time. The car rode the rail about twenty feet tearing out posts before stopping. front wheels torn off and front end badly damaged.

Co Labor Union Elects 1939 Officers at Legion Hall
