One-Car Crash Kills Man Near Butlerville
James Elmer Jackson 52 of North Vernon died at the scene of a one vehicle crash on the Butlerville San Jacinto Road 3.6 miles south of Butlerville at 4 25 p m Friday. Injured 14 year old David Wayne Leahigh was treated and released. Jackson lost control striking a utility pole and overturning the pickup. Funeral arrangements at Dowd Funeral Home North Vernon.

Car Demolished and Driver Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash
Jack C. Edmonds, 25, of 900 West Oak Street, was slightly injured at 4:50 a.m. today in a one car crash on U S 50 six miles east of Seymour. His 1956 coach went off the road, down an embankment, struck a culvert and overturned. Edmonds was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital. He was cited to appear in Seymour justice court for driving to the left of center.
