Watches Recovered in Cox Pharmacy Theft Case
Two more watches stolen by Cecil Ruddick of Indianapolis were found Thursday in Columbus by Constable Clarence E. Davis. Seven $1 watches were recovered with the arrest, and another watch sold to a taxi driver for forty cents was recovered. Ruddick was fined $11 and sentenced to ninety days at the state penal farm by Mayor Burkart.

Car crashes into guard rail near Columbus injures none
Three men returning to Chicago from Seymour escaped injury when their car owned and driven by Charles Bowman of Chicago struck a guard rail at the State Roads 7 and 9 junction southeast of Columbus. Bowman said he was going about 65 mph and failed to see the junction angle in time to slow. The car rode the rail for about 20 feet tearing out posts and damaging the front end.
