Seymour police and state police investigated two Monday night burglaries near Seymour. At Browning Brothers implement store thieves stole an electric drill punches and a tool box. entry from a putty removed window pane. At Sinclair bulk plant thieves cut a panel hole unlocked the door pried the safe and carried off its combination. No stock or company property was reported taken.

Former Residents Injured in Foggy Highway Crash
Charles Sanders and Rosemary Short Sanders, formerly of Seymour, were hurt in a auto crash near Lawrenceburg on a foggy night while en route to Cincinnati. Their car swerved to avoid a parked vehicle and struck its rear fender, throwing all four occupants from the car. A Lawrenceburg couple with them was hospitalized in Cincinnati for injuries. Children were not present.
