Seven Hurt in West Seymour Collision on U S 50
Seven people were injured in a two car crash on U S 50 about 15 miles west of Seymour. Ethel Holeman and three Jines family members were treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital, with injuries ranging from fractures to bruises. The accident, caused by the Holeman car crossing the center line, involved a 1953 coach and a 1958 sedan, with police continuing charges. A second wreck near town caused about 200 dollars damage. December fatalities in the eight-county area remain low, but overall yearly deaths total sixty from forty-nine fatal accidents. Authorities urge caution during the holidays.
