Henry Gardner aged fifty nine of Indianapolis died at St Francis Hospital after a weeklong illness from liver cancer. Funeral from 69 North Brookville Road Indianapolis Sunday at 8 am, then Riverview Cemetery Seymour. Gardner born in Jackson County, lived in Seymour 46 years, janitor at Benjamin Harrison School. Survived by widow, three brothers, one sister, and seven stepchildren. He was a member of Englewood Christian Church in Indianapolis.
