Four men arrested at Bloomington early Sunday confessed to attempting to rob the Farmers and Merchants Bank at Elizabethtown Saturday night officers say. The quartet, aged 25 to 30, were forced from the bank by tear gas after breaking the safe. They cut ten wires, left with two Colts revolvers, and properties from the door. Arresting officers found the evidence in a car during the Sunday arrest. Names given include James M. Deckart and Harold Orr.
