Meter Take for Week Shows Sharp Increase
Parking meter collections jumped this week with 300 meters in Seymour totaling $385.50. Clerk Treasurer Ralph Lucas reported the average weekly take from these meters is about $325. Two weeks’ receipts from 75 meters totaled $107, per Mr. Lucas.

Man Cited After Car Strikes Utility Pole
Albert Schneider of Ewing escaped injury when his 1946 car ran off the road north of Rockford and hit a utility pole near the pumping station.
