Despondent divorce leads to youth’s suicide in Salem
Monte Taylor 26 learned of his wife Georgia Gunder Taylor’s divorce and shot himself on his parents sun porch in Salem. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with burial in Salem Cemetery. He had threatened self harm if the divorce was granted and leaves behind a 5 year old daughter Janet living with her grandparents in Brownstown.
