About seventy people attended Seymour Lions Club tenth anniversary charter night at Central Christian Church. Purdue professor Bob Phillips spoke on Christmas as J. R. Mitchell welcomed guests and T. H. Montgomery presided. Monarch chevrons honored ten members. W. B. Everdon’s team won an attendance contest with a trip to Indiana University. No meetings until January due to holidays.

Corn Show 1935 Planned at Farmers Club Seymour
Edmund Murray announces Jackson county corn show to be held December 18 to 20 at the Farmers Club in Seymour. The event, a first in years, is possible through cooperation of township Farm Bureau units, the Seymour Business Men's Association, and Purdue alumni in Jackson county. Premiums will be offered for ten ear samples of white and yellow dent corn in two classes open to county growers and similar classes for 4-H Club members who completed the 4-H corn project in 1935.
