At a Monday city council meeting Indiana consultant Charles JH Hurd proposed complete sanitary sewer plans and specifications costing 7200 dollars, based on a 2 percent fee of an estimated 360000 dollar construction total. Council delayed decision to its next regular session.
George A N Shideler superintendent of the Indiana reformatory and a noted prison reform leader died at St Vincent's Hospital Indianapolis after a three day illness from a heart attack. He was a native of Jonesboro Grant county Indiana son of D B Shideler and Sara J Shideler.
A high school basketball clash unfolds at the gym tonight with Butler varsity taking on Seymour Independents at 8 15 p m.
Gagan Gonefo loco was arrested at his Crothersville home on grand larceny charges and confessed to robbing a Baltimore & Ohio freight car in town and stealing fur valued at 75 dollars from Jacob Bartman and Son in North Vernon. Bond set at 1500, case bound for circuit court.
