Crothersville to Theme Bicentennial Festival
About 12 Crothersville residents from various groups met at Crothersville High School to plan a Bicentennial themed festival around June 11 and 12 with Flag Day June 14 as observance. Destruction Mishaps Total Near $12700 In Damages
Police investigated seven traffic accidents Tuesday causing about $12 700 in damages with one reported injury. A 1974 truck driven by David M Wittmer 20 of Odon Ohio ran off U S 3 near Brownstown at 555 am rupturing the truck and egg cargo. The truck sustained 5000 damage the cab 150 to fencing and 2000 to cargo with 90 percent of 600 cans of frozen eggs ruined Wittmer suffered facial lacerations no citation issued. A second mishap at Chestnut and Bruce streets involved a 1967 Col back page.
