Dr. C A Wiethoff of Seymour with offices in Sunset Parkway and Third and Walnut streets has been named a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. The board headquarters in Philadelphia notified him after he completed the two part exam, with the first part passed in 1952 and the second in Nashville three weeks ago. He trained at Indiana University Medical School and Indianapolis hospitals before opening his Seymour practice in 1950 and serves at Schneck Memorial Hospital Bartholomew County Hospital and Washington County Memorial Hospital.

Local Man Hurt As Truck Flips
A 57 year old Seymour man, Clyde Keller, was injured when a Holland Dairy Company truck he drove lost a tandem wheel and rolled onto its side seven miles west of Brownstown on US 50 at 8:45 am. He was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital for a cut hand with no fracture after the wound was cleaned and dressed. Trooper Robert O. Stanley investigated and found loose right rear tandem lugs caused the wheel to break free.
