The Seymour common council adopted three major ordinances and a fourth lesser one in a four hour session. Ordinance No 1269 set a master plan for city thoroughfares and subdivision control. Ordinances No 1271 and 1272 repealed annexation ordinances 1217 and 1219, effectively stalling a planned annexation suit. Emergency Ordinance No 1270 diverted 1575 dollars from unused funds for other city expenses and goes to the state for final approval.
