Homer Sanders of East Fourth street received the first passenger plates, number 276 901, as 1937 license tags went on sale at the Seymour branch. Fifty plus sets of passenger plates and fifteen truck plates were sold by noon with branches at Crothersville and Brownstown also opening sales.
