Horning Injured After Tree Fall While Raccoon Hunting
Foreman Harry Horning of a Wooler mill sustains a sprained ankle and back after slipping from a tree while raccoon hunting north of Bobtown. He and companions including Tom Bryant and Everett Findley, plus three others named Governor, Henderson and Ingsinger, carried him to his car and Seymour for medical aid. The raccoon was not captured.

Babe Buried Monday in Surprise After Inquest
Funeral services for two month old Bonita Anthony of Surprise were held at the Methodist church with Rev. William DelHart presiding. Burial followed in Surprise cemetery. The coroner William A. Tire thefts cleared in Bedford court case
